Crazy Keyboarding Camp

Begin a strong foundation for all future musical learning through this energetic parent-child class designed as an inspiring introduction to the basics of music. Little Dragons Karate Camp with Shelly Walrath
Ages 3-5yrs

Now you can enroll you and your child in a special program for OSM students ages 3 1/2 to 5 1/2 years which is designed to instill integrity, self-discipline, and respect for others while increasing self-confidence, focus, and listening skills. 

This class promotes physical fitness for you and your child! Little Dragons Parent-Child Martial Arts Sampler will be held at our Columbia OSM studio and will be taught by one of our long-time OSM music moms, Shelly Walrath.  Shelly is a 5th Degree Black Belt and World Gold Metal Winner, who has been studying martial arts since the age of 8.  With over 30 years of martial arts experience, she balances patience with firm discipline when teaching children.

Jazz Improv Camp with Bruce Coates
Ages 10-16yrs+

Take your music skills to another level in these exciting workshops taught by Bruce Coates, one of Maryland's most successful private instructors. Take away the ability to solo with a jazz ensemble and the understanding of exciting fundamentals of the practical aspects of jazz improvisation.

Prerequisite: students of all ages and instruments with working knowledge of major scales.

Students must bring their own instruments each day. There are no make-ups for missed classes. However, any days missed by instructor will be made up.

Materials to be used: James Aebersold Vol. 24 & Vol. 54. Plus additional materials supplied by teacher.
