Has convenient locations in Maryland that serve more than 750 students,
from infants to adult, providing courses in music introduction/music
and movement, keyboard classes for ages 3-4, 4-6, 6-8, 9-14, 15-adults,
music theory, voice and a variety of music instruments, focusing on
serving musical needs for the entire family. Courses are taught
by a trained staff of 17 music education professionals, averaging
ten years in music teaching experience. OSM

also has a satellite facility in the River
Hill village center of Columbia/Clarksville.

established as Ellicott Square School of Music at the historic Main
Street Ellicott City location in 1993 by Olenka Stasyshyn
Bren, the School's current director and president. Ms. Olenka received
her Bachelor of Music (1982) and Masters of Music (1987) in piano performance,
piano accompaniment, and pedagogy from Lviv Conservatory, Ukraine. Formerly
a concert pianist, she has over 24 years of music education experience,
as a piano instructor for public colleges, private schools, and for
Olenka School of Music, Inc. She has authored several papers on music
education and has been a speaker of the first business panel at the
2001 Jubilee Convention of the Music Teachers' National Association.
